We can’t do it alone!

Thank you to our partners and donors whose passion and commitment are helping make San Diego the safest county in the nation! Our partners include foundations, corporations, government agencies, fire agencies, non-profit organizations and individuals. We collaborate with our partners to set specific priorities, identify areas of need, and obtain the necessary funding.

Our multi-faceted connection with our broad network of donors, community-based organizations, and fire agencies enables us to create a resilient region. Please connect with us to become a partner.

THANK YOU!

MAJOR DONORS

Our major donors help fund the critical needs in our region.

“SDG&E is proud to partner with the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation for more than three decades, to help make San Diego County safer for everyone.”

Penny Newell, SDG&E Sr. Community Relations Manager

individual partners

Many individuals are passionate about our firefighters and public safety.

“When a team of firefighters from outside our local community saved our Poway home during the 2007 Witch Creek Fire, my husband Ray and I realized how important it was to make sure all San Diego County firefighters have the equipment needed to do their job of protecting us. The Regional Fire Foundation is the only foundation supporting all our fire departments.”

Linda Thomas

“It is my privilege to donate annually to the San Diego Regional Fire Foundation to assist our firefighters throughout the county who work hard to keep us safe every day.”

Beth Bowman,
retired oil industry executive

Community Partners

We work with a number of Community Partners to develop and execute projects
throughout our region including:

“The San Diego Regional Fire Foundation has been a tremendous asset for the County stepping up to acquire mobile data computers, automatic vehicle locators, evacuation books, mass casualty kits, and other regional equipment so all local departments can provide the same level of service.”

Tony Mecham, Cal Fire San Diego Unit and San Diego County Fire District Chief.

Agency Partners

We support all of our 43 fire agency partners throughout San Diego County.

The Pauma Reservation Fire Department received a used fire brush engine from Oceanside City, but it had no equipment. The San Diego Regional Fire Foundation provided us a grant of $20,000 to enable us to equip the engine with hose, tools, radios, and other critical equipment so it could be in service for the 2021 wildfire season helping to protect north San Diego County.”
