Wanting to teach their grandson, Robbie, about giving to the community, Sheldon and Sandra told Robbie he could give a $250 Christmas gift to a community group.

Robbie said he wanted to help firefighters for what they do to protect the community. His gift was used to acquire personal protective equipment to keep our firefighters safe.

John and his wife, Anne, were having an outdoor adventure on the Pacific Crest Trail near Mt. Laguna when Anne had an accident and broke her arm.

Firefighters from the Mt. Laguna fire station found where she was located and tended to her injuries. John and Anne were so pleased with the responsiveness and compassionate care she received, they donated $5,000 to assist our firefighters.
