Students at The Classical Academy TK-8 Developed and PRACTICED a Home Fire Escape Plan during National Fire Prevention Week
The San Diego Regional Fire Foundation and the Escondido Fire Department partnered with the Classical Academy to help students and their families be prepared for a fire in their home when sometimes all you have is 1-2 minutes to escape safely.
Students drew a floor plan of their home showing all doors and windows and identified two ways to get out of each room. They practiced their own home fire drill with family and planned a designated meeting area outside.
